It has been 25 years since the Great Catastrophe which resulted in the demise of an entire generation of super heroes. Criminals from all over the world who would have once feared the jurisdiction of super powered heroes began committing crimes which resulted in a surge in criminal activity. Rumors of a new Batman have arisen, and many citizens are thrilled but this occurrence is not enough to strike fear in the eyes of many criminals. There is only so much that one hero can do by himself. Though Gotham City has become a peaceful safe-haven, the world is still in need of new heroes ready to jump in and combat the forces of evil.
But does anyone have the courage to help?
