Trunks had no clue what had happened, one minute he was training in the mountains, the next he was flat on his face in the street, bleary eyed and slowly regaining consciousness. People had begun to crowd around him, craning their necks over one another to look down at him. Distressed as he clambered to his feet, he took off into the air, not caring much what kind of attention he attracted so long as he had the opportunity to get his thoughts in order. What he saw from above the city shocked him to his core, his eyes flew wide as he took in the scene before him.. It looks like South City, but it... it's all here, none of it's been destroyed! His initial feeling was one of elation, which swiftly succumbed to confusion, he didn't understand at all what this could mean.
The last thing he remembered he'd been training in a canyon, alone. There had been some kind of... disturbance. He wasn't so sure, but he could swear that... yes, it seemed that way. Funny, I don't remember, did I time travel? Once he had found a secluded alleyway some distance away he touched down and stepped out into the street again. As he walked he paid close attention for anything which could indicate the date to him. After a while he ran across someone's discarded newspaper, what he read confused him even further. Okay, so I'm in the past, but if I'm in the past and everything's not ruined then it has to be the future of Goku's past time line after I returned to the future... I hate time travel.
Glancing up to the sky he sighed, more confused than he had started out. Normally he'd be more than capable of keeping track of things, but this was a whole new level of strangeness which he figured only his mother would be able to unravel. Hey! That's a thought! He rushed on the nearest phone box he could find, unfortunately for him his plan fell at the first hurdle when he realised carrying pocket change in a post-apocalyptic nightmare world just wasn't the done thing. Still, not the biggest of problems. 'Oh, hi there, I need to make a reverse charge call... Capsule Corporation... yes I'll hold.' He hoped this worked otherwise he'd have to fly all the way over to West City. 'Hello? What do you mean they wont accept the charges? Forget corporate policy, just... just tell them it's Trunks... yes, I'll hold.'
Well this isn't going great, it would probably be faster to fly at this rate.
'Hm? Oh good, this is Trunks, could you possibly put me through to my mother? No, this is not a prank call. What do you mean I don't sound like Trunks?' As the line went dead he put the receiver down none too gently and stepped back out. 'Don't believe this,' he muttered to himself as he checked the sun's position in the sky and turned himself roughly North-West. With his aura blazing he took off as fast as he could, better to make good time. Something really weird was going on and he wanted to get to the bottom of it right away. He just hoped that he didn't attract the wrong kind of attention hurtling through the city as he was.

The fiery pink haired woman brushed some of her curly hair back from her face and glanced down the alley. It was unfortunately painted in blood at the present, the woman finished wiping her fingers on the jacket of the last man she'd massacred. They had been foolish enough to attack Lulu when she was walking by and tried to mug her. Lucy was having none of it, it had been a while since she had the chance to take over and stretch her legs. Funny that she still thought of them as two separate people when she knew they weren't, Lulu of course didn't know what but she had always been aware. Since the day that the childish and innocent girl had created her, she had known her purpose was to take care of the other. If that meant violently, she glanced down at the broken and blood spattered bodies, well she was perfectly ok with that.
She stepped over the last man taking care to not step in the pool of blood he'd created and turned her ice blue eyes on the last one. He was cowering against the back of the alley and she grinned at him showing unnaturally white teeth, "Maybe next time you will think twice before you attack a defenseless girl on the street, hmm?" she asked making more steps forward. The man was crying now and trying squeeze himself between the fencing that separated him from his escape. A low chuckle escaped her lips, "Oh wait, there won't be a next time" she growled and her hand shot out grabbing hold of his shirt and lifting him up in the air. The hood on her black hoodie didn't allow him to see her eyes, the fur covering her face so that all that was visible was from her nose down.
The golden fur glinted as a stray piece of light hit it and made her smile seem all the more feral. It was about that time that the screams started and she dropped the man in shock letting him hit the ground hard. She whirled around and the man scrambled for the fence and slipped through running, making her growl and glance over her shoulder angrily. Whoever had made her drop him was about to be in for a world of hurt that was for sure, she ripped the hood from her head and started towards the mouth of the deep alley skirting the bodies once again. She made it out on the sidewalk in time to spot the culprit, a man with long purple hair and she gritted her teeth. She wasn't going to let him get away so easily, she lifted herself into the air quickly and followed him making sure to keep an eye on him from afar.
He made a pit stop and she waited patiently on the top of the building near him before grinning when he took to the air once again. This was going to be her chance to blind side him and there was nothing he could do about it unless he was quicker than she herself was. She shot up suddenly on a collision course with him and they slammed into each other midair, she made sure to drag him down to the ground with her when she spiraled down. Her back hit the dirt and she rolled herself to her feet fixing that cold gaze on him. There was no doubt he'd be confused but that didn't bother her, she'd explain why she dragged him out of the sky in just a moment. "Oops" she said softly but her grin said that it was no accident and she pushed the hair out of her eyes making smearing a small droplet of blood that wasn't her own on her forehead without realizing it.

Trunks was totally taken unaware by the sudden attack, he just about folded in half as he and his mystery attacker rammed in to one another. He had felt no ki to warn him of the impending charge and felt still nothing as he plummeted towards the ground. As they came to it he thrust out his hands, springing off them on to his feet nimbly, whoever he'd been blind sided by, that was the last opening they saw from him. He slid back a little way as he landed, dragging a hand along the ground to halt what remained of his momentum. What he saw was hardly what he expected.
He hadn't at all expected to have been blind sided by a woman, but there it was plain as the nose on his face, he gritted his teeth and scowled across at her. I don't have time for this! I have to get moving! His fists clenched and he dropped he stance, his posture clearly indicating he meant to fight her off if she impeded him any further, he began to raise his power level but wasn't about to go Super Saiyan right off of the bat, he just needed to force his way through. He had no time and no patience for some kind of stupid death match.
'I don't know what you think you're playing around at, but I sort of have a tight schedule to keep. So if you're going to get in my way, don't expect me to show any kind of restraint.' With that said he powered up his aura, he was in no mood to be toyed with and jerked around. For all his talk though, he knew he couldn't do with releasing too much of his power while they were still within the bounds of the city. Too many, way too many people here. If I don't use enough power this fight will drag out and they'll be in danger, but if I use too much they'll be in danger anyway. Guess I have to tread the fine line, doesn't seem like she's going to give me much choice.

"There goes that power level again!" Goten said to himself, he was walking through North City to see if he could find any cute girls. He noticed that the power level had rose, and he sprung into action, he charged as fast as he could to the direction.
When he got there he saw LuLu, and then he saw.... TRUNKS?! This couldn't be true, this Trunks was stronger than his best friend. This Trunks was attacking the girl of his dreams! Goten then walked in the middle, and said, "What seems to be the problem, if there is one, I can stop it...." He then looked at Trunks, "Dude, you don't look the same Trunks, I think it's your hair!"

The purple haired youth was back on his feet quicker than she thought he would be. Instead of discouraging her it made her grin, at least he'd be a challenge if she decided to kill him rather than just beat him to a pulp. His scowl showed his displeasure but she just kept her own smirk on her face and stared across at him with cold dead eyes, his snap at her only made her laugh softly, if he thought he was going to blow her off he was seriously mistaken. "Let's get one thing straight kid, you interrupted me while I was teaching a few lessons to some friends back there" she said jerking her thumb over her shoulder back towards the city. All trace of smugness was gone and her expression now only held straight annoyance and disgust from the way she was wrinkling her nose was apparent.
"I wasn't done teaching them manners but since you decided to make a scene and interrupt I think maybe you need the lesson as well" she rolled her shoulders lightly and smirked at him again letting her head roll to one side slightly watching him. The aura that flared from him was impressive she'd have to admit, but it was clear he was holding back from his body language. He was tense and she felt herself roll her eyes, he was a goody toe shoes, just like Lulu. She was so tired of meeting his type around, they were all the same and they were all so dreadfully boring to her. Lulu of course couldn't get enough of them but she herself felt a little sick every time the girl went along with them. Sharing this body was such a curse sometimes.
She pulled the headphones she always wore from her head and set them down gently, no need to break them during this. Before she could attack him however another presence made itself known and she gritted her teeth, had no one any manners around here? The youth that appeared was familiar to her and she groaned softly, "Curse my luck..." this boy knew Lulu and so probably assumed that Lucy was her. He had no reason not to of course, no one else knew about Lulu's condition besides herself. Funny how the childlike girl didn't know a thing about Lucy but Lucy was aware of everything they did. She supposed the other side of her persona would have been horrified at the things she did so it wasn't really a bad thing that she remained oblivious. "I don't think you can help, this matter is between the two of us I believe, not that you couldn't do with the same lesson he's getting. Interrupting others is quite rude" she snapped at the other newcomer coldly. Surely he'd catch the difference in her tone and body language, it had to be obvious, not that she gave a damn.

Trunks watched his attacker closely, he couldn't sense any ki off her still and that made him nervous, though still unconfirmed he had his suspicions. So he watched her for any sign of hostility or sudden movement, he wasn't going to be taken by surprise again. When the other young man joined them, Trunks thought that he recognised him for a second, at a closer inspection he knew full well that he had never seen him before though he bore a striking resemblance to Goku and Gohan. Whatever the case it was something he just didn't have time for, something was very very wrong and if his past adventures with the Z-Fighters were anything to go on then every last second could be vital in deciphering what was going on.
'I think you've got the wrong Trunks, I've never seen you before in my life. You should stand back, I can more than deal with this' He turned his attentions back towards Lucy, still maintaining his fighting posture the whole time, ready for anything she was about to throw out. 'And as for you, I'll give you one last warning: turn around and leave right now or else I wont be held fully accountable for my actions.' Momentarily straightening up he shrugged off his jacket and let it drop to the ground at his feet. He floated a little way above the ground, his aura powering up even further as his hair began to rise, his muscles bulged and filled out his normally loose fitting clothes. His eyes went completely blank, soon to reappear green as his aura flared once more, turning gold along with his hair which still shifted and flowed as though he were underwater.
He had only gone as far as Super Saiyan for two reasons, while he wanted to make a statement that he was not one to be idly fooled around with, at the same time he didn't want to push the fight too far and pose a danger to South City. 'Now's your last chance, back off and I'll forget this ever happened, carry on and I'll be the one who teaches you a lesson.'

Goten now frowned, they both tried to diss him! Goten then said, "Well, since you tried to break my heart Lulu, guess I have no choice but to let Trunks here fight you..."
He then looked at Trunks, "Your names is Trunks Briefs... I do know you... Well I know you from this timeline..." He then sat against the wall, "I'll watch..."

Sensing the presence of a Super Saiya-jin suddenly, Vegeta paused in the middle of swallowing the protein juice he was drinking and put the can down. "That feels like Trunks. But what is getting him so worked up that he'd have to go Super Saiya-jin." Not sensing anything other than Trunks, he decided it was worth investigation. He wouldn't know that Android 17 and 18 are no longer their enemies, and that was the only possible reason he could conclude for Trunks to transform with no other presence detected. It was a quick walk outside of CC headquarters and a short flight to South City, given that he was wasting no time.
Arriving after a few minutes, he flew over the city, homing in on Trunks' energy reading with little effort. He descended into the city and flew over ground traffic, weaving between cars very easily with his arms crossed over his chest. 'Something is a little off about Trunks' power reading. He doesn't feel like Trunks completely.' His eyes widened and it suddenly hit him. 'He must be the Trunks from the future. What is he doing back in this time? His apocalyptic future not good enough for him anymore or what?' Gaining some altitude, but still flying below the building line, he made a slight course change and quickly came upon the scene with Future Trunks, Lulu and Goten. Quickly he made his landing right between his Future Son and the girl he'd met at the restaurant.
He walked right up to Future Trunks with an angry look in his eyes. At the moment he was ignoring the others. "What do you think you're doing attacking this girl? And what the hell are you doing back in this time? Don't tell me you came back because you missed dear old dad." His arms were still crossed over his chest, impatience clearly evident on his face. He cast a brief glance to Goten who was standing there looking pitiful, then returned his gaze to his son. "Well?"

Lucy sighed and suddenly straightened up folding her arms across her chest, this was ridiculous. If this was a fight she had apparently never had one before because she had never heard so much talking in her life. She tapped her foot and watched the young boy with dark hair question the boy with the longer purple hair with something like boredom and annoyance in her expression. "You'll find I have exceptional hearing, if I wanted to leave I would have done it already" A smirk spread across her lips as the man shrugged off his jacket and started to power up. His aura was impressive and she even felt the need to sink back into a defensive position as it spiked suddenly. She watched in wonderment as his hair changed from a light lavender to a bright gold and his eyes changed to a bright teal. Well she'd certainly never seen this trick before.
She laughed softly at his final warning, he was hesitant to do this, she knew her attack had seemed unprovoked to him but that didn't matter. He had just made this extremely interesting to her and now that he'd shown her this there was no way she wasn't going to fight him. She shook her head, "You didn't scare me, if anything you made me more eager" she growled and grinned at him. She glanced sideways at Goten and laughed once humorlessly, "I am not the woman you think of, so don't act as if I've broken anything" she snapped. She was not going to let him butt in with his pity party on her fight but it appeared he knew the other man. She started forward again but was immediately halted as yet another had shown up.
These damn people were just crawling out of the wood work, "Oh for the love of...ugh" she paused once again and wrapped her arms loosely around her waist. This was getting ridiculous, she was however suddenly surprised when the man that arrived came to her defense. However upon closer inspection she noticed it was another that Lulu had met, this was just getting better and better, the poor girl was going to be very confused when this was all over if something didn't happen really soon to avert all of this. Yet another boy landed and this one looked almost like the one she had been intending to fight before everyone had show up. A pressure built behind her eyes and the throbbing made her grit her teeth, Lulu wanted out, badly but she couldn't do this here. Who knew what would happen if the gentler side of her suddenly came out and was attacked.

The half-Saiyan had put up with about enough and began to move towards Lulu, taking slow strides toward her in hopes that she would lose her nerve and stop impeding his path. He was almost on her when he was suddenly blocked by the last person he'd expected to see, of course he was aware that his father would have sensed his presence, it was impossible to put anything past him though he'd not anticipated he would take an interest. For his part he'd been so focused on his opponent that he'd hardly noticed his father's approach. He's gotten even stronger than he was before, even now it feels like he's gone far beyond my limitations. I probably should've tried to finish things here without powering up to Super Saiyan. It wasn't that he hadn't wanted to see Vegeta, but he was just so turned around that he would find it difficult to deal with him.
As his father approached he straightened up, bolt upright with his shoulders back, staring his father down as his aura continued to flicker around him. As they came face to face he held his father's gaze as he spoke, but as when he had first met him he could not endure that solid cold stare for very long. He dropped his eyes as his aura vanished and his hair dropped as he returned to normal. Obviously his father took issue with this fight and for now he would not question him, but he'd have to watch out for the girl in future, what had started out as a suspicion had been all but confirmed in his mind. All he could muster as a reply to his father was a meek: 'Sorry...'
His face hardened as he looked past Vegeta, gesturing to the mysterious girl as he spoke up. 'I don't know what I'm doing back here, but one thing's for certain, she's no girl, she's an android. Just try sensing her ki, she doesn't even register at a normal level for a human, let alone one strong enough to knock me out out of the sky.' He figured his father would probably take the opportunity to belittle him, but with his past experiences and this strangers attitude Trunks was deadly serious. Still looking past his father towards the stranger he spoke up again. 'Who knows what could happen if we just let someone like her run free.'

Vegeta looked clearly uninterested in Trunks' little anti-android campaign though he did look over his shoulder to see Lulu standing there. He had already figured that she was an android from the first encounter they had where she was beating in the skulls of several disturbed humans in a restaurant. And her behavior at Capsule Corp. wasn't exactly what he had deemed normal for humans either. There was something about here eyes that seemed a little off, her posture and overall attitude seemed completely different from the meek and timid girl he'd seen before. There seemed to be a familiar urge to fight within her eyes, something he had seen briefly before and not nearly this close. Things were beginning to click in his mind, but he wouldn't throw out claims until he knew for certain.
He returned his attention to Trunks and glared at the future version of his son. "I'm well aware that she isn't human Trunks. This isn't the first time I've met her, and I honestly doubt that you could take her in a fight." It seemed he would escalate the issue, a smirk playing at his lips. "I know that you hate androids, that they destroyed the future because you were too weak and helpless to do anything about it, but did you forget that they have all been much stronger in this time line? Would it not be logical to presume that she too is stronger than you can anticipate and you are too weak to succeed just like you were in your own time?" He laughed.
Uncrossing his arms from over his chest he let them rest at his sides and stepped out from between the both of them. "Show us the true depths of your strength Lulu, and teach my son not to get in over his head because of his personal prejudice. Just try not to kill him, Bulma would probably fire you for killing her son, even if he is from the future." He did not hide the personal amusement he was feeling. "Where is all that fire from before Trunks? You'd better go Super Saiya-jin if you hope to stand a chance against her. What are you waiting for?"
