Maiyah overlooked her parents' farm with a lazy vigil. It wasn't often that Maiyah got to actually sit around and do nothing while working on the farm, and it was a nice enough day for her to have all of her tasks done and her payment received in full. She watched the horses eat and the cows moo at each other in their family groups, chickens squawking as they pecked the ground for menial pickings, and pigs cooling off in their own little mud bath. She sighed softly, holding out the orange sphere she had collected a little while back. She had yet to report back to her employer, but he hadn't contacted her either. She needed to make a note to leave him a message requesting further briefing. That purple-haired boy from before bothered her with his curiosity and paranoia. He knew she had something and he knew what that something was. What did he call them? Dragonballs?
She sighed and hmphed, sitting on the fence and watching the animals on the farm go about their merry business. Her motorcycle rested at the side of the house, ready for her whenever she was willing to depart. She found herself not wanting to, though. The air was nice and clean, much different from the air of the cities. While the air was cleaner, something about the skies bothered her. They were off, a strange color added to the usual nitrogen-blue. Strange things had been going on lately, and Maiyah was just starting to take note to it, these abnormalities appearing to be more prominent in rural and wilder areas, away from the cities. It was strange, and Maiyah wasn't sure what to make of it... but strange things had happened in her lifetime, and people weren't getting killed left and right, so perhaps it wasn't something she should worry about.
